Day one post resignation
Something significant has shifted.
After three decades in technology leadership, I’m stepping into a new chapter — and I’ve been quietly living it for the past few weeks before writing about it.
There’s been elation. There’s been a 1:15am wake-up or two. There’s been a road trip, a first client, a conversation I’d been avoiding, and something I’m calling the Funk Protocol — a survival kit I built for my neurodivergent brain before the hard days arrived.
I’m not quite ready to publish the full piece yet. I’m still on the road, still in the in-between, still letting the words settle.
But it’s coming. And if any of this lands for you — if you’ve ever navigated a transition you didn’t fully plan, or wondered what it costs to build something new while grieving something old — I think you’ll find something useful in it.
More soon.
